In the summer months from May to August, you will experience the bright nights of Lapland on this voyage and in the months from January to April, this voyage is popular as an ice cruise.
Terneuzen, which is only 220 kilometres west of Cologne on the west bank of the Westerschelde, is very easy to reach by car. With the booking confirmation you will receive a route map with details and also information on travelling by train.
We have heard a lot of praise for the vessels and crews from passengers who have travelled on this voyage so far.
The Finns speak good English.
In addition to the ports listed above, Rotterdam or smaller ports such as Dordrecht or Moerdijk in Holland are called at from time to time, and sometimes Raahe in Finland. The vessels usually sail around Skagen and through the Sound near Copenhagen, but occasionally also through the Kiel Canal.
One way trips are possible from May to December. (Please open the Itineray PDF at the top of this page to see the prices). During the ice season from January to April one-ways are not bookable.
The price for one way trips is fixed on a lump sum base for the route Netherlands - Finland or Finland - Netherlands (4-6 days), even if duration or ports change.
From January to 30th April the basic lumpsum is 139,-€. In this period bookings are only accepted for one calender week.
Departures: 1-2 sailings each week from Terneuzen.
It´s not allowed to consume alcohol on board.
Each vessel has space for a maximum of 2 passengers.
