The passage

Classic trip to Australia and New Zealand, passing the Mediterranean Sea, Suez Canal and Indian Ocean.
At the moment a very rare chance to travel to Australia by freighter via Suez-Canal.

Departures: approx. all three months

Visa: German citizences need a visa for Australia, Sri Lanka and India. Other nationalities please check with the embassies for further visa.


Vaccination: Yellow fever required. Ask your health office or doctor for further recommendations.

So you calculate the cabin price for the route of your choice:

  1. mark the port of embarkation
  2. mark the port of destination
  3. mark the favourite cabin (double cabins: double or single occupancy)


The following has to be added to the cabin price (per person/trip):
Basic lump sum EUR 85,- and deviation insurance EUR 160,-.


Prices are fixed (food supply included) for the calculated days even if the duration or route vary. Frachtschiff-Touristik Kapitän Zylmann GmbH is intermediary between shipping company as carrier and the passenger.
